Most of us don’t want to think about this…but it’s really important to have someone who will.
There’s been a lot in the news about Hulk Hogan’s will and estate and the family dynamics and emotion that often come after a loved one passes. Dealing with finances is the last thing most surviving spouses and heirs want to deal with. Especially during the most difficult times when a known terminal illness is diagnosed and the family is just trying to be there for each other. During these times, having an advisor you trust is as important as ever. Someone to think about all those things you don’t want to think about. Someone to make adjustments and put steps in place to at least provide a level of financial comfort. Transferring assets prior to death, and taking advantage of step-ups in cost basis, can greatly reduce taxes and maximize the assets for the family. We share an example in this latest video. Thoughtful planning and specific strategies make a meaningful difference in the long-run and ensure that wealth is transferred in a way to have the biggest possible impact for the beneficiaries. Make sure you have someone in your life who will worry about all of this for you. #EstatePlanning #WealthTransfer #FinancialPlanning #LegacyPlanning #FamilyWealth #TaxSmartPlanning #WealthPreservation #PlanAhead #FinancialComfort #TrustedAdvisor #HNW
